My first post!

So, you may have heard that I've started knitting woolies?  Here's my new home to post all about them!  Maybe you're waiting for me to start yours and want to see what I'm currently up to.  Maybe you're the lucky one who's yarn is on my needles right now.  Maybe you're just wanting to know what I'm all about.  So here it is... 

I'm currently taking orders for custom woolies (shorts, capris, longies and soon to be skirties, too!)  My prices start at $40 (+ actual shipping) for shorties and $50 (+ actual shipping) for longies that are knit out of one yarn.  You get to choose length and cuff styles and I will help you to get a good fit over your particular cloth diaper of choice.   I love getting fancy so if you have a special design in mind (say...stripes or something special knit on the butt or leg) let me know and we can chat.  Prices for specials depend on time needed to make it happen.

All of my woolies come to you washed and lanolized, ready to wear.  

What are woolies?  Covers for cloth diapers.  Back in the day long before plastic was invented our ancestors used hand knit covers to help keep things contained.  Someone brilliant thought to add legs to them and shorties and longies were born.  Someone even smarter thought to attach a skirt to them and skirties were born.  One stop diaper covering.  No extra clothing needed.  Wool is naturally antibacterial so they don't get stinky or funky.  Wool is also a great breatheable option.  It's also great at keeping your little one at just the right temperature.  While it is not waterproof it is very water resistant and can hold 1/3 of it's weight in liquid.  Pretty amazing those sheep are, eh?
